Submission IP: Disabling the IP recording from submission

There's a new law coming into effect in Europe in May called GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). One element we all need to be aware of is that tracking of personal information, including identifying someone from their IP address, will not be allowed from this time.

So is there a way to not have the IP address automatically stored in the submission results table?

    Thanks

    Mark

Unfortunately, you can only hide the IP address. There is currently no option to get rid of this information in the submissions. Let me submit this thread to our developers as a feature request. We can't promise any time frame for this, but if there are updates, you should know it via this thread.

Thanks Sabbir. This new directive has come from the EU so all EU member countries will have to comply - no choice. I'll keep a look out for progress...

Morning guys. We have about 4 weeks until the GDPR come into force - https://www.eugdpr.org/

Can you please confirm that you will have a fix in place in time for ALL Europeam companies to comply? It's pretty inportant...

    Thanks
