    Hide fields with 0.00 in form submissions

    Asked by WC2 on October 08, 2012 at 03:22 PM

    Hi,

    I am trying to hide any fields that have '0.00' entered as a value on my form submissions. The pdf that uploads to my dropbox hides any field that has no entry, but I want to hide any field that contains '0.00' so the pdf is not so cluttered. I would also like the form submission under the submissions tab on jotform.com to folow this condition.

    Thanks!!

    It is not possible to hide a field that contains a value. What needs to be done for your situation is to modify the custom script provided by my colleague so that the form will not calculate the amount and assign a 0.00 value to it if either of the QTY and Price fields are left empty.

    I will notify him about this topic so he can apply the changes necessary for your requirement. You will be contacted via this thread.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Thanks ldarktech it works great. My last problem is required fields dont seem to work on the tumblr page. I understand this is a common problme and probably because I to paste your custom script along with the form script into tumblr. Do you know of any work around or fix for this?

    Thanks so much for your help you guys have been a life saver!!

    @WC2

    This solution may or may not help. I can't really guarantee, sorry.

    Insert the following codes right after your form's codes:

    <script type="text/javascript">
      $.noConflict();
    </script>

    If it does not help, let us know so we can find other ways, if there are any.

    Hi Neil,

    This did not seem to work. If someone can figure it out I will be ecstatic, but for now I will just put a note in for the user filling out the form not to press enter until completing the form.

    thanks!
