How can I skip irrelevant questions for a specific audience and still make them required?

Asked by keremk on October 08, 2012 at 03:30 PM

The question itself is very vague so here is a more clear version. I am using jotform for creating forms for a conference in İstanbul and tens of schools from all around the world attend this conference. So, there are travel and accomodation questions in the form at hand. However, there are also schools from Istanbul and they don't have to answer all those traval and accomodation questions, but others have to.

In other words, I'd like to make those Istanbul schools skip the travel and accomodation parts of the form via an option in radia button. Is this possible?

In the url, the question that should make the Istanbul schools be able to skip the travel and accomodation questions is THE FIRST QUESTION OF THE SECOND PART, TRANSPORTATION.

    Thanks a lot!

Yes this is surely possible with the use of Conditional Logic which in turn allows you to make your forms in a sense " smart " by letting you do things you couldnt normally do such as if a question does not apply then you can choose to hide or show it based on a series of answers.

Basically you can create your form with the info based on what you have mentioned above and then per say have a question such as " Are you from Istanbul? " and if they answer " Yes " it will open up the school list in istanbul and by-pass a buncha questions but if they answer " No " then it shows those questions and more.

If you need more help or have other questions let us know.
