We have a gold account. We want our sub-users (with free accounts) to be able to create forms in the gold account. Is that possible?

A Gold plan can have up to 100 sub-user accounts. And, yes, sub-users can create forms. They need to click the Assigned Folder first of the Parent Account. They can view this on the left navigation. See screenshot:

A sub-user can create a form within that folder. You can read this guide. I hope this helps.

Should the sub users be able to create an unlimited number of forms in that folder?

(the main user is a gold account, sub user is a free account)

Please note that in free account, user can only create up to 5 form. Your sub user needs to created form in his account and then transfer it by dragging the forms to shared folder of main account. This will change the ownership of form to the main account. Please check the screenshot below on how to move form to main account by sub user account:

You may also like to take a look at the following guide on how to transfer  form to main account by sub user account:  https://www.jotform.com/help/342-How-to-transfer-or-share-forms-and-data-with-another-account (you need to look for Option #3 - Transfer Form Ownership as a Sub-Account User!)

    Hope this helps.
