HIPAA Compliance Question

    I have a private practice so is your site hipaa compliant?


    Also I am coming with fillable pdf files. In your site am I able to send these pdfs to future patients where they can log in and I can then retrieve them at a future date?

    Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. We believe that Jotform complies with all applicable laws. Both standard and HIPAA-enabled accounts are secured. Their main difference is how they store and transfer data. With a standard account, you can share your submissions page and your users can view their submissions if you allow them. However, in HIPAA-enabled accounts, only the account owner is able to view submissions made on their form.

    HIPAA Forms encrypt the data right on your form and then transfer and store the data encrypted. The HIPAA form data is stored in our HIPAA-compliant servers which are separated from the Internet using multiple levels of protection and firewalls, and the encrypted data is stored in encrypted databases.
