The items in my product list are now checked by default and I'm getting error messages when I have a zero quantity.

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and I can confirm that all the products in it were selected by default as you set up:

Getting Selected product quantity cannot be less than 1 Screenshot 40

Getting Selected product quantity cannot be less than 1 Screenshot 51

You're getting an error message because each auto-selected product has to be ordered. The user has to deselect the products that they don't want to buy to complete the form. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

If you don't want that to happen, you can turn off the enabled Selected by Default from all your products.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

If I turn off the "selected by default" then the different options for each product don't show until a user selects an item. Is there a way to make the options show when the product list loads?

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for patiently waiting, I appreciate it. I made some tests on the Product List and I noticed that the quantity option is not automatically shown until you select an item because of the Sub Product option. Take a look at the screenshot below:

Getting Selected product quantity cannot be less than 1 Screenshot 30

As you noticed on my screenshot, the Amazon product does not have a Sub Product, that's why the Quantity selector is automatically shown while for the rest of the products the Quantity selector, and the sub-products are hidden until you select them. Unfortunately, this is how the Product List element works. Once the Sub Product option is enabled, each product doesn't show until a user selects an item.

To avoid getting an error, the user needs to select a Product and make sure to add the quantity so they can submit the form.
