hi, is it possible to  add numbers to the booking form "reference" i.e

ive called the email alert Bookings

what i would like is for a set of numbers  attached to "Bookings"  , so i can keep account of  which are new bookings and so on

    in my email.

i know you can add this to the end of the form but was wondering if its possible to add it to the head

so it would lok like tis when it comes in  -->

Booking 0001, boking 0002 , booking 0003  and so on, hope that makes sense

    Hi,

Yes, you can do that by adding a unique ID on your form.

Here is a guide regarding unique ID: http://www.jotform.com/help/79-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions

    Thank you.

Yes, this is very much possible by placing the tag for your reference field in the subject line of your notification template.

    1.  Edit your notification template (Setup & Embed > Email Alert > Notification)
    2.  Click on the subject line
    3.  Click your reference field's name found under the Form Fields list (right hand side). This should generate the tag for your reference field.

    4.  Click Finish then save your form

In my example below, the tag for my reference field "Booking Number" is {bookingNumber}. This will be replaced by the actual value upon form submission.

    Hope you find this helpful.
