Why have I been charged twice in January. I know we cancelled the subscription and started it up again... but we would expect the subscription to continue for the calendar month we'd paid for?

I checked our logs and it does look like there were 2 charges in January due to a duplicate subscription being created. The duplicate was cancelled but was not refunded. I refunded one of the two payments and you should see that refund posted to your card in the next 7-10 business days.
