Each year we clone our current form and rename it for the new year and edit as needed. When I recreated it this year I recently noticed while the form has red asterisk on questions some are functioning and others aren't. This is very concerning since this information is needed for our governing body for accreditation purposes.
Can you please explain why the form would show the red asterisk yet not function and why if it was required previously when cloned would the functionality fail?

I have checked and I have been able to replicate the issue where the required field has asterix and yet it is not set as required. Removing and setting the field as required again fixed the problem.
So I would kindly recommend you disabler Required field and enable it again on your form, test and then let us know if issue is fixed.
In the meantime I have escalated the issue to our level 2 team for further analysis and resolution. We will update you on this thread once the issue is resolved.

So, are you recommending that I check each and every form I have that has required fields to ensure they are functioning? That truly is a grave concern, but if that is what I must do then I will. Thank you.

Thanks for your response. For now that the best way for resolving the issue as our Level 2 team are looking into fixing the error and how to prevent the error from happening in future.
