I'd like to reply in the thread above, that's all fine if you're making a new form, but I would have to recreate my entire form that I've been using for 2 years to get this function back? I just want the due date to be in the future, somehow it reset some weeks ago when it's been working for years. How can I get this without making a new form?

As far as I understand your question, you do not need to create your form again from scratch. 

Only 2 more hidden fields should be added to achieve the logic from the thread you shared with us. 

We will gladly assist you in improving of your form if you provide us some more requirements as for your Due Date field.
