    Avoid customer to re-enter same data again

    I am creating a customer registration form wherein they can submit Training courses.  It would be into 2 parts

     

    1. Customer information

    2. Training course information

     

    I dont want the customer to re-enter the customer information.  It should be captured only once, not every time he is submitting a new course.  Customer information would be the same for every course that he submits.

    Training course information would be unique everytime and hence all the fields need to be entered.

     

    How can I achieve it.

    There are a couple of options I can think of at the moment:

    Solution 1: Facebook Integration

    Users with Facebook accounts would only need to enter their personal details once (Please see this blog entry for more information on the feature.)

    Solution 2: Edit Link

    With this method, there would be a single form containing the user information fields plus fields for all of your courses. Each user would be able to update their submission via an edit link and you would be notified on each of those updates. (Please see How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date for details.)

    Hi,

    You may make this happen by creating a field that asks user to choose if has already registered, if yes then need to hide the already captured field straight to required areas using condition.

    Here is a guide that can help you with the condionts on the form.  As per the collapse fields, you may wat to look at part of this guide.
