Invite by Email requiring users to log in before being able to fill out the form

I shared my form with 2 customers, but it is making them "Create an Account" before they can complete my form. I don't want them to have to create an account to complete the form. I just want them to get an email with a copy of the form when they are done. How do I set this up?

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You will need to set the form’s access settings from Private to Public, so your customers will not be asked to create an account. It's easy, let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Now, click on Settings.
    3. Finally, select Public Form. Invite by Email requiring users to log in before being able to fill out the form Image 1 Screenshot 20

That's it. Give it a try and let us know if you need anything else.

It was already set to public. I went ahead and changed it to private, then changed back to public, and it is still requiring them create an account/log in.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. I have checked your form, and it seems that you send your form through email invite, please note that when you invite users to fill out the form using the Invite By Email option, the form will be assigned to them and they will become Form Assignees. Form Assignees need to have a Jotform account to submit the forms using the invite email link. They will also be able to view their submissions on their Jotform Account.

Since the form is already set to Public, what you can do is just copy the form URL and send the invitation email using your own email service. Once the recipient receives the email that came from you, he/she should be able to open the form without needing to log in.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
