Inventory Widget: Does not reset Quantity even after deleting the submissions

    Dear Jotform Support,

    I have been running some test on my form and now that I am ready to release this, I am unable to reset the inventory quantity even though I have deleted the entries in Tables and Inbox.

    Please advise. Thank you!

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    I've cleared your form cache as this helps fix temporary issues. Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

    Thank you for following into this. Unfortunately the problem still exist for me even though I have cleared my cache.

    Even after deleting all submissions, clearing the trash, the inventory does NOT reset to original qualities. In order to reset the quantity, I have to delete the field and re-create a new one all over again. This is not ideal for my use.

    Please advise.

    Hi actscentresg,

    Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, deleting or purging submissions does not affect the inventory count because the count is tracked separately from form submissions to retain count integrity. To adjust available stock, you need to increase the total inventory via the widget settings.

    Although this is how the Inventory widget works now, I forwarded your request to our developer team as a feature request. Please note that when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we'll circle back to this thread and let you know.
