Hi
I have a BBQ event that I would like everyone to bring a salad to a large gathering. I would like a maximum of two salad types on the menu. i.e. I don't want 5 people to all bring coleslaw.
Is there a way that once two people have submitted a salad type that option is not longer available, ideally greyed out, so people can see it has been already chosen and not an omission in the list.
Regards
Ross

Hi Ross,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and found that you are using a multiple-choice field for the salad collection. Unfortunately, it is not possible to gray out the selected option when using the multiple-choice field however you can use the Inventory widget or the Gift Registry widget which allows the form user to make a selection from the list. You can set the stock to 1 so that once someone picks a salad it becomes unavailable for others. Let me show you an example of how to set it up:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, type Inventory in the Search Bar and add it to your form.
- In the Widget Settings window, enter a Description of the item and then set an appropriate quantity in the Available Quantity section. That's it.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Afzal,
Really clear instructions. I used the Gift Registry widget as I wanted multiple choices in the smallest space.
thank you
