    Hi Craig,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The form in the screenshot is using the Short Scrollable Terms. Unfortunately, it's not possible to make the checkbox selected by default. The terms and condition widgets are designed that way, so users who are filling out the form should need to understand first what is the terms and policy before actually agreeing to it. Having it checked by default would actually defeat the purpose, I believe.

Nonetheless, such can still be achieved using a normal checkbox element. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In the Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element button.

    2. Look for Multiple Choice element and add it to the form.

    3. Keep one option in the multiple choice field and label it with the terms and condition content/message.

    4. Next, open the field's property and go to the Advanced Tab.

    5. Lastly, set the Selected By Default's option default value.
