How to add a comment on an approval?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to set up an approval system that works like I configured it in one of my client's accounts, with the option for the approver to insert a comment before the approval or disapproval email is sent, e.g. This comment will be included in this email.

    But in my tests, when I approve or disapprove, the comment field does not appear for me, but instead I am taken to the submission page.

    Take a look at the Karlo post, on March 31. That was the answer that made that Approval system works as my client needed.

    Hi fazzapp, 

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You're taken to the form's Inbox after approval as that's normal behavior after approving an approval. You will need to turn on Require Comments, so a comment box will appear when you approve an approval. Here's how you can do that:

    1. In the form's Approval Flow, select the Approver and click on its Gear icon.
    2. Then, go to the Advanced tab.
    3. Turn on Require Comments.

    Ok, I found out the problem.


    I was using the same email address as the approver email, while logged in my account. I have to use another browse to get that comment window.


    It's ok now.
