Why the sender email not working for autoresponder?

    I hope I am not miss understanding the purpose of the sender email.  In setting up my auto response email, I went to advanced settings and set up the sender email to my own and verified it with a code.  My hope is that this will make it so the sender information that appears in the from section of the email will show my email and not the JotForm email.  But when I tested it, my changes did not show.  Did I do something wrong, miss understand the purpose of a custom sender email, or did this happen as a function of the test?

    The Test Email function will always use noreply@jotform.com as the autoresponder's Sender Email.

    Try submitting the actual form to see that the autoresponder is being sent from the email address you have configured it to.
