PDF Editor - Is there a way to keep the question and response on the same page when answers vary in length?

    Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can find the Page Break feature in the PDF editor. Let me show you how:

    1. In PDF editor, click on Add Form Element.Add page break on PDF Editor Image 1 Screenshot 30
    2. Drag and drop Page Break element to your desired area.Add page break on PDF Editor Image 2 Screenshot 41

Reach out again if you need any other help.

I don't want a predetermined page break. I want it the question and answer to be on the same page but since the length of answer will determine which element this would involve can not predict which question would be moved to the next page. it might be question 4 or 5 or 6 depending on how wordy the previous responses are.

    Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the layout of the PDF to fit the question and answer on the same page, You can try to make some adjustment like adjusting the font size of the text to fit the questions, however this will change how your PDF looks.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
