HI how do give the approver option to ask for additional information and return the form to the requester. so the requester can add the info or change it and send back to the approval (for example for time off request)

Hi hrResources_hr304_Resources,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can enable Request More Information from the Advanced tab of the Approval Properties and can allow your approver to ask for additional information. Doing that is easy. Let me show you how:
- In your Approval flow, click on the Gear icon for the approval step to open Approval Properties.
- Now, under the Advanced tab, toggle On Request More Information.
- After the Submission has been made. The Approver will have to click on Go to Inbox for the Approval email they have received.
- After that, click on the 3-dot icon and click on Request More Information.
- Now click on Send Email to send the email to the submitter.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

ok, got it thank you. I thought is it possible without going to the inbox?
ALso what if the request denied - is it possible for an initial requester to edit the request and resubmit

Hi hrResources_hr304_Resources,
Thanks for getting back to us. If the approval is still pending and the approver requires additional information from the form filler, they must go to the inbox.
As for your other question, if the request is denied, you can include an edit link in the email that is delivered to the form filler. Let me show you how:
- In Jotform Approvals, select Email Settings for the Deny outcome.
- In the Email Properties, click Form Fields and then add the Edit Link. You can place the edit link anywhere in the email.
That's it! Let us know if you have any other questions.
