I have a new Jotform account and would like to transfer my form to the new account. The form and email confirmation came through fine, but the PDF formatting is not correct and it will take hours to remake it. Would someone be able to help take the PDF layout from my old account and help migrate it to the new account?

Hi Don,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you clarify and explain a bit more about the issue, so I can get a better idea of what's happening? Are you able to transfer your form from one account to another? If so, moving the forms won't alter the PDFs you have created. But if you did not transfer your form from the other account, You have to login to that account. Create a forum thread from the Contact Us page. Add your form URL and the username or email address of the other account to which you want to transfer your form. Check out this guide on How to Transfer Your Forms and Data to Another Account.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Karlo - Yes, I transferred the form to the new account using the URL. However, the pdf is completely different. I have attached two screen shots to show you the difference..

Hi Don,
Thanks for getting back to us. To clarify, you want to use the second screenshot of your PDF document? If so, you can create a new PDF document in a few easy steps. Let me show you how.
- In PDF Editor, in the blue navigation bar, click on +New PDF.
- Click on New PDF Document.

Hi Don,
Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, the PDF format does not get copied over to the cloned form. If you want to copy the PDF from your form to another account's form, you can do this by saving your PDF as a public template. Let me show you how:
1. In Smart PDF Forms, click on the arrow next to Smart PDF Forms in the upper left corner of the screen.
2. Select PDF Editor from the Quick Menu.
3. In the PDF Editor, click on the Gear button on the right side of the page:
4. Scroll down and under Create a Template section, select Public Template, and click Save as Template.
5. Fill out the pop-up form about the template details and click on Add once done.
The process will open a new window that leads to the page where the PDF Template can be copied. You can copy the page URL and on your other account, you can access the URL and click on the Use Template button to get a copy of the PDF template.
Lastly, if you want to remove the template from public visibility, the best way to hide it is by deleting the template from the PDF Editor. Here's how:
- While in the PDF Editor, click the Roller Paint icon on the left.
- Go to the Templates tab.
- Select My Templates from the drop-down menu.
- Hover your mouse over the template and click the Trash icon. This will permanently delete the shared template, but it won't affect the original one you have.
That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.
