why a submitted form submission came in as Complete?

    Can you tell me why a submitted form came in as " Complete" .


    I have set up an Approval workflow and it does not give me any options to move it from IN PROGRESS to approval or deny.

    I recently added a new Approver to the workflow and he does not have any options either. How do I correct this ?

    Hi Jose,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having issue with this. The submission come in as completed when a condition on the Approval flow is triggered but does not have any end action. When the condition is met and requires no further action it will show as complete in submission. Can you please check if this is the case with the submission?

    Regarding your question about changing the Status please note, it is not possible to change the Approval status in the table unless you actually approve or deny the submission. For the New Approver, please note, that they will not be able to see the previous submissions before they were added as approver. If that's what you are not referring to please let us know the issue in bit more details so we can help you with a proper solution.

    Thanks, your message encouraged me to look into the workflow conditions and I made a mistake in there. Seems to be working now.
