Jotform App: Users are log in upon form submission

Hi, my forms are all set to Public and the group that the forms are in (in an App) is set to Public. Why are the forms still requiring a person to login to complete the form? I just want them to be able to click Submit and the form is submitted. Then if they're able to set up an account to see past forms or save the form and they wish to do so, that would be great too. But the form should be submitted without logging in. How do I fix this?

I just tried sending myself the link to the app through your system as an email and the link in the email doesn't let me even look at the forms without logging into the app (even though I have this setting switched off in the App settings) ??? Pls help.

    Hi bayfortforms,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand how stressful this is. Let me help you with this. I tried to access your app using an Incognito Browser, but I was able to access the forms without logging in. Check my screencast below: Jotform App: Users are log in upon form submission Image 1 Screenshot 20

As a precaution, I have cleared your form's cache to refresh your forms. Can you try again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

The access to the app worked without a login, that's good, but when I completed a form, it didn't allow me to submit without logging in:

    Hi bayfortforms,

Thanks for getting back to us. The users a required to log in to Jotform because you set the forms as required on your app settings. To track if a user submitted a certain required form on your app, they are required to log in so that when they re-open the app, they will not need to fill out the required form that they already filled out. Basically, it's a way of tracking the forms that a certain user has filled out.

If you want to remove the login requirement on form submission through the app, you can remove the requirement for all the forms on your account. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In the App Builder, click on the Form element and select the Gear icon attached to it.
    2. In the menu on the right, scroll down and toggle off the button beside Required.
    3. Reest the steps for all the other forms.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

Thank you! That makes sense. I have now removed the "Mark as required" on all of the forms in the App... I cleared my cache... and it's still forcing me to log in to complete the form. This is what pops up after you click Submit on a form:

    Hi bayfortforms,

Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form and I see that you set the forms to be marked as completed. Here's a screenshot of the form settings in the app:

Basically, it's the same process for marking a form as required. We need the users to log in to track the forms they completed. You'll have to disable that as well.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

Giving me all of the information at once, would have been helpful - take a look at this string...you'll see exactly what I mean :P But yes, I will try this now and hopefully I don't need another piece of the puzzle to not make my campers log in. Thank you!
