Scan drivers licenses/vehicle registration stickers to auto populate in the form

Has development created ability to scan drivers licenses / vehicle registration stickers yet? After a quick Google search one can find plenty of links of Jotform customers requesting ability to scan drivers licenses/vehicle registrations -has this moved up the "food chain" for OCR or PDF417 ? Unfortunately current widget will only scan standard bar codes.

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, we do not have OCR (Optical character recognition) option yet. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
