The image radio buttons are not appearing for everyone. It appears perfectly on my computer when I preview the form but for my whole department, only 3 images appear.

Could you please provide the form link so we can investigate it further?

I checked some of your forms and I did not see any image radio button.

We'll wait for your reply. Thank you.

    Hello there

I think a few or all images are called from the url https://lmu.box.com/... which needs an authentication.

When we try to open the image https://lmu.box.com/shared/static/8rxt0oatxhrc7smhyyjzrvwclwstq42x.jpg we are asked to login - screenshot attached.

So unless your users are not logged in they wont be able to view the images

    Hello,

       So on this form: https://form.jotform.com/fmquality/safety-footwear-authorization-form

I wanted to use a widget where our employees can see an image of the boot they are selecting so the image radio button widget was perfect. However, I saw how it was needed to be set up bu using a link. These boots are from various websites so it I knew it was going to take me a while to look up the correct model and then paste the link.

So I have a catalog that our internal accounting department created which I was able to snap shot each boot so easily and then I put it in "drop box" with a "shared link". So it works for people in the LMU network since that's how our box was created which also explains why you encountered that login screen.

Is there any other way I am not thinking of to easily upload these boot images. I can add the cataloge so you can see what I am working with but I don't see an option to insert the word doc in this conversation.

You can try contacting the Box support and ask how to set the images to the public or how to bypass the login page when viewing the image in public.

I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

    Hi John,

it looks I was able to correct the permissions on my images in Box for the Safety Footwear Form, however, I tried to mimic the same process for my schooldude form and it doesnt work at all.

    schooldude form: https://www.jotform.com/build/80105566769161

These are the links I am using from my box account for the images.

    custodial: https://lmu.box.com/s/592gdjhrtgijrozw7fy4yych5qoa2sqq

I tested this on a different browser without being logged into box and it works perfect to pull the image. So my second question, is there something with JOT that is not pulling the image from this link?

The link you have provided will not work for the widget, the widget expects an URL similar to the other ones you have added, example: https://cdn4.iconfinder.com/data/icons/sports-vol-3/48/111-512.png

You may also use this tool to upload your images: http://www.jotform.com/help/image_upload.php?naked=true

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I understand. Interesting that my other form: https://www.jotform.com/build/80606463011143 is using images from box.

So the tool you mention above, how does this work? I chose an image from my desktop or box file and it will make a URL for me that I can use in the widget?

    Hello,

Yes, your image will be uploaded and you will get a direct link to use in the widget.

If you need more help, just let us know.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I tried it out for the first image (custodial) in the widget

    box link: https://lmu.box.com/s/592gdjhrtgijrozw7fy4yych5qoa2sqq

    - which if I paste the link in a browser where I am not signed into box it works.

    JOT tool link: https://cms.jotform.com/uploads/image_upload/image_upload/fmquality/59059_custodial services.JPG

    - This is the link it generated which when I pasted the link in a different browser, it appears.

The image still doesnt appear in the form.

I would recommend you to forget about the box link you have, it will not work since the link to the image must end up with the image extension, basically the Box link is loading the image in an HTML structure instead of displaying the image as such.

Now, the image you provided using our tool does not work due to the spaces, a conflict may happen when:

    1. The file's name contain spaces.

    2. The file's name ends up with an special character, for example, if it ends up with a parenthesis. It's recommended that the file's name ends up in with a letter or number.

So the following link will work: https://cms.jotform.com/uploads/image_upload/image_upload/Kevin_G/59589_59571_custodial_services_1.JPG

    Example: https://form.jotform.com/81634723451960

The images are being placed with CSS codes, that's why there are some elements that may break the code and not display the image.

Please kindly make sure you're uploading the image without spaces and ending up with a letter/number in its file's name.

    I hope this helps.

You'r amazing, yes it completely worked. So happy to leave the box behind. I figured to keep all this form information centralized for our department but this tool works great. Thank you!
