Google Drive Integration - Send Submissions to a Specified Folder

    Hi. Is it possible with your Google Integrations to have a submission sent to a subfolder off the main drive? Our main drive consists of a number of folders of various subjects. We have a folder set aside for our foundation and a subfolder within it for scholarship applications. When a form is submitted, we want it copied to the subfolder we have already specified. We don't want each submission to be in its own subfolder.

    Is this possible? In our testing, it wanted to put everything in a folder on the main drive.

    Hi judahbrownproject,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it is not possible to send submissions to a specific folder within Google Drive. Google Drive will automatically generate a folder for that particular form.

    Google Drive Integration   Send Submissions to a Specified Folder Image 1 Screenshot 30If you do not want each submissions to create subfolders. You can turn off this option in your Google Drive integration. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Integrations on the left side of the screen.
    3. Select the Google Drive.
    4. Hover your mouse over the Action and select the Edit icon.
    5. Toggle Create a subfolder for each submission to Off. Once done, click Save.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

    Thanks for the response. It is unfortunate that you don't support that feature. Unfortunately, we will probably have to migrate this specific form to Google Forms so we can accomplish this. Please let me know if anything changes.
