Viewing/filling out my survey on an iPhone

    I know in another thread, the advice to opening and filling out a JotForm survey on an iPhone would be to use a browser other than Safari such as Opera mini, etc. Is there no actual way to fill this form out with Safari's mobile browser?

    Safari is the default browser for iPhone. If my subjects cannot fill out their survey on their phone's default browser, they will not fill it out.

    People already hate surveys as it is.

    Our forms are already capable to be viewed in Safari Mobile browser. The issue most likely comes when people tries to edit the form using Safari.

    Can you please tell us if you are using the Embed or iFrame method?  Can you please share with us the URL where the form is embedded if any?

    Here is the form I am referring: http://communitydata.geniusrocket.com/new.php. You cannot get past the first section on iPhone Safari.

    Thanks

    I was able to test your form in a Iphone emulator.

    However, this might be differ from a real iphone safari browser

    I am not sure if this will work in real iphone, but can you please embed your form using the Embed code rather than iframe? and also change the DOCTYPE declaration to:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    If you don't want to change iFrame code, I would then recommend you to change the DOCTYPE declaration to:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/frameset.dtd">

    @liveantics

    It would also be of big help if you can post a screenshot of the site when viewed using your iOS device.

    You may use this site to upload the screenshot image.

    Here's the screenshot of my survey on my iPhone. I cannot scroll lower than this point.

    @liveantics

    On your iframe.css, change overflow property value from hidden to scrollable, that might fixed it. Example:

    html, body{ margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; overflow: scrollable; }

    Thanks!
