    Hi,

I'm encountering some issues. For the module amount section, how do I do adjustments on it? The calculation is off. Which part of the form did I input wrongly?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Gift Registry widget appears to be connected to the Module Amount field. Unfortunately, this widget does not allow you to assign calculation values.

Because of this, you create exactly the same options by using the Multiple Choice element that support calculation values option, right? You then set up conditions to replicate the choices in the Multiple Choice form with the Gift Registry widget. Unfortunately, if you enable the Multiple Choice's calculation value option, your condition will not work properly.

Check out the screencast below to see my results when Calculation Value is off in the multiple-choice:

Image 2 Screenshot 41 I've asked the relevant team about if this is a recent change or the usual behavior of a field when a copy field condition is set up and a calculation value is enabled. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi,

May I check why the amount is not reflected on the summary? Plus, the "Would you like to register for [Hands-On Chemistry Practical Lab] Lessons?" is not shown as well. How may I proceed from here

    Hi there,

I am still not able to sum up all the modules. It only shows zero in the summary. Could you please check on it? Appreciate your assistance. :)

    Hi Des,

Thanks for getting back to us. The reason why the amount is not showing up in the summary is that you have the incorrect Unique Name. Take a look at the screenshot below:

How do I adjust the module amount? Image 1 Screenshot 20

Like what you see in the screenshot, the Unique Name of Tropical Mastery Modules Amount is {tropicalMastery} but in the summary you used {coreModule}. The same thing with Practical Modules Amount, the correct Unique Name is {practicalModules}, but in the summary you used {practiceModule}. If you used the correct Unique Name, that should fix the issue.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

Thanks for the solution. For the Sub-total, what do I fill up?

    Hi Des,

Looking at your form, it appears that you haven't added a subtotal field. For this purpose, you can use the Form Calculation widget. I can walk you through setting that up:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Widgets tab, search for Form Calculation. Drag and drop the widget to your form.

    • In the widget settings that open on the right side of the page, click on the Add Field button.
    • Select the form fields and click on the Save button.

    • Select the widget and click on the Gear icon.
    • Under the Advanced tab, get the Unique Name and use it in the Paragraph element.

    • You can do the same if you're having the same issue with the other form fields.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Hi,

Thanks for the information and solution! Lastly, can we check if the page (Pic 1) can be removed? We would prefer it to be directly to the page (Pic 2) instead? Would that be possible? :)

    Regards,

    Des
