Approval Flow: A submitter had signed twice, but the status remain 'Waiting for approval'

    Hi Team,

    Current document awaiting approval is 59 Whipbird Place, Oxley.

    Kim has signed it twice, once earlier on her iphone and again just now.

    It's still sitting on her approval.

    Can this be looked at as this has happened in the past 5 times now ad hoc.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We are sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Rest assured that we are here to help you with it. I believe you are referring to the submission 5895648338712364966, please do let us know if this is not the submission you are referring to.

    To resolve this, could you try to restart the Approval Flow for this submission? It's easy to do this, let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the three-dot menu beside the submission.
    2. Please find Restart Approval Request and the approval request will be restarted from beginning.

    Hi

    I mean I can do this, but why should we have to redo the approval process? Isn't this a glitch on your end? It seems silly that it gets half way through then we have to start over again because the system is glitching.

    Any other options?

    Hi Mirelle,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked the affected submissions but couldn't see any indication of it being approved already. When your approver is completing the action, it's important to finish the 5-second countdown after clicking on the approval action for it to be completed. Could you ask your approver to log out and login to their account, and try approving the submission again? After doing so, there will be a timer showing on the top right corner of the page providing time to undo the action before it is sent to our servers. Please ensure that this is completed and see how it goes.
