Autocomplete Functionality in Configurable List Widget?

I'm using the Configurable List widget to display a dropdown of items, quantity field, and the "add" field button. However, my drop down contains a large number of items and is difficult to navigate. The Autocomplete widget would work great here, but it doesn't have the ability to replicate the field via the "add" button.

Any way to accomplish this? Meaning, create a field with the Autocomplete dropdown, quantity field, and a button to add another entry?

I can submit a feature request on your behalf to include an Autocomplete field in the Configurable List widget, but I cannot guarantee that it will be implemented anytime soon.
