    Hi....

"Is Shipping Address the same as Billing Address" is doing something weird. Can you help?

When I am filling out the form and come to "Shipping Address the same as Billing Address", and select "YES" or "NO" ....Shipping Address fields suddenly appear, but when you start to type the address....it becomes an error, saying "Is Shipping Address the same as Billing Address" is a Required Field.
I did notice that when I selected "YES" or "NO", the circle doesn't fill in fully. The circle was just sort of outlined, not filled in. The field asking if is a gift...when you select "YES" or "NO", the circles fill in.
I may have something set wrong. I fear when I launch and people try to order, they will be confused and not order or worse, call and ask.

    Thanks for your help!!

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened to me. After investigating it a bit, I found that the Update/Calculate field condition related to Is shipping address the same as the billing address field is causing the issue. You cannot copy a value from an Address field to a Single Choice field:

    1. In Form Builder, drag the address field after the Single Choice field. Update/Calculate Field Condition: Condition is not working correctly Image 2 Screenshot 61

When I disabled the condition, it worked as expected. Checkout the screencast below:

Here's how to disable the condition that causing the issue:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    3. Hover your mouse over the condition and click the Gear icon.
    4. Click on Disable Update/Calculate Field Condition: Condition is not working correctly Image 4 Screenshot 83

Can you explain a bit more about your requirement and why you have the condition that caused the issue so we can provide you with the correct conditions that suit your requirements?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hello and Thank you. I disabled the condition.

    1. So, if it IS a gift, the customer must fill out the Shipping AND Billing addresses. Same as #3
    2. If it is NOT a Gift, then the condition "Is Shipping Address the same as Billing" is next.
    3. If Shipping Address is NOT the same as Billing Address, customer must fill out Shipping Address AND Billing Address.
    4. If Shipping Address IS the same as Billing Address, when customer fills in the Shipping Address, it populates the Billing Address with the same data....if that is possible.

    Thank you....Peter

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for getting back to us. Although it is possible to copy the values of the address field to the billing address text fields on the payment field in some of the payment gateways, unfortunately it is not available currently with PayJunction. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any other questions.

    Wow. Random and unfortunate.

What I think needs to happen then is to have both Shipping Address* and Billing Address* be required fields. Some of the customers would need to fill in both fields anyway (those with different ship/bill addresses), so why not have everyone do it.

If that is possible, there is no need for the question...."Is Shipping Address the same as Billing?".

Could I have some instruction to create this?

    Thank you, Peter
