Are forms that I set to public discoverable through a search engine like google, or would someone need to have (or guess) the url to the form?

    Hi Bryan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.

JotForm offers various privacy settings for forms, including the option to make forms public. When you set a form to public in JotForm, it means that anyone with the URL to the form can access it, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be indexed by search engines like Google.

By default, search engines don't index JotForm forms, so they won't appear in search engine results unless someone specifically shares the URL of the form in a public place that search engines can access, such as a website or social media platform. However, if someone has the direct URL to your public form, they can access it without needing to guess it.

Here are links that will help you with blocking search engines from indexing your website pages:

Unfortunately, there is no option in our form builder to see these meta tags on forms.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
