Setting up Google Calendar integration appointment booking

    Hello JotForm team,

I need help implementing the solution I require. I'm integrating Google Calendar into my form since we have a company event. The event will take place on the same day but at different times (one at 11 AM and the other at 07 PM). Therefore, I need that when a user fills out our form, an appointment is scheduled in Google Calendar and that this user can choose between the two available time slots we have (single option radio button). I tried adding conditions, but I couldn't achieve it, so I would like to know if it can be done.

    Hi Plataforma_Comercial,

Thanks for patiently waiting. To achieve your requirement, we will need a Two Date Picker. Then we will set the custom time for the first date picker to 11:00 and the other date picker to 19:00. Since you already set the custom date to May 02, 2024, we can set these date pickers to Read Only so that your users would not able to modify it. Lastly, we can apply to Show/Hide condition depending on the Time or Hours the user selected. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Add a Two-Date Picker Field.
    2. Keep these 2 Fields hidden for us to easily create a condition later on.

    1. Customize the Time of the Two-Date Picker Field. One is for 11:00 and the other is for 19:00.
    2. Click the Gear Icon.
    3. Go to the Time Tab.
    4. Select Custom and Enter the 11:00 and 19:00 for each Date Picker Field.

    5. Now, create a Show/Hide and Condition, that if the Horario is 11:00 the Fecha with 11:00 time will show.

    6. If Horario is 19:00 the Fecha field with 19:00 will show.

Also, please take note that you will need to add new calendar events from your Google Calendar Integration for two different date pickers so that it will be synced to your Google Calendar.

That's it! You can check out my demo form here.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hello JotForm team, I implemented the solution you provided step by step. My only problem now is that it's not scheduling any events on Google Calendar. I'm not sure what could be happening...

Hello JotForm team, I have new information about this issue I'm experiencing. While reviewing my calendar, I noticed that a new meeting is being scheduled for the specified date, but it only creates the event for me, the main account holder, and not for the person submitting the form. Additionally, I don't need multiple events to be created; instead, I need to add users who respond to the form to the Google Calendar event I already have created. Is it possible to achieve this? Can people who respond to my form be added to my Google Calendar event?

    Hello Plataforma_Comercial,

Thanks for getting back to us. Our Google Calendar integration is designed to automate adding an individual event per submission to the appropriate calendar of the integrated Google account. Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to only add participants to an existing event in your Google Calendar or to automatically add the event to the calendar of the form responders.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated this as a feature request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
