While typing, the computer glitched and the contents of the paragraph element disappeared.

I had been writing a contract as a paragraph in a form and my computer glitched and suddenly everything I had written was gone. All of my revision history has also disappeared. Can I get this back somehow? It was hours worth of work.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support and we’re sorry you’re having trouble with this. Unfortunately, if the modifications are not visible in the Revision History, we cannot retrieve them. Is this the form you are having issues with? I looked at the revision history in your form, and the reason why the changes are not visible there is that as you were entering the contents inside the Paragraph element, your computer glitched, and the content was not saved. 

Please note that you can save the content in the Paragraph element in two ways: by manually clicking the Save icon on its right side or by clicking somewhere outside the element. Let me show you how it's done:

Hi, i realise that the new content that i was in the process of writing had not been saved. However, there was hours worth of content that was written yesterday that was present in my revision history and then suddenly disappeared. This content had 100% been saved but its like the revision history was wiped. I have literally been in tears due to your software deleting my work, is there definitely no way of recovering the content?

I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. When your work was saved, it will appear in the revision history and will not be deleted. If you clicked on any of the versions, the only option is to revert that version. As noted by my colleague, unfortunately, there is no way for us to retrieve a version of the form if it doesn't appear in the revision history. You can try to draft the contract using text editing software like notepad, once done, you can copy and paste them in the Paragraph element of your form.
