    Hi,

The field is supposed to be hidden under its condition.

However, it is still showing up in the PDF after the submission.

Appreciate your assistance on how to make it right.

    Hi Catherine,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that the PDF will only hide form fields if it is empty, depending on your PDF Settings, and it is not possible to conditionally hide them in the PDF. A workaround is to create another PDF document and remove unrelated form fields in it.

Just to confirm, are you referring to the fields "Ozone Measurement (Air+Surface Sterilizer only)", "Results: Average Ozone Measurement (ppm)", and "Note: Ozone monitor measurement scale. (Paragraph field)"? And not display them in the PDF if the "Ozone Measurement (Air+Surface Sterilizer only)" is equal to "No"? If so, here's how to fix it:

    1. Go to the form's PDF Editor.
    2. Click the + New PDF button and select the New PDF Document option.

    3. Rename the PDF document if you want and remove the unrelated form fields.

    4. Go back to the Form Builder page and click Settings.
    5. Go to the Emails tab.
    6. Click the Add Email button.

    7. Select the Notification Email or Autoresponder Email option.

    8. Go to the Advanced tab.
    9. Toggle the Attach PDF to ON.
    10. Select the created PDF document and click Save.

    11. Go to the Conditions tab.

    13. Select the Change Email Recipient conditional logic.

    14. Set up the condition to trigger the created Notification or Autoresponder Email.

Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Victorino,

    Thanks for your guidance.

I have followed your steps to make the changes, but the "Results: Average Ozone Measurement (ppm)", and "Note: Ozone monitor measurement scale. (Paragraph field)" are still showing up on the PDF.

    Appreciate your advice.

    Hi Catherine,

Thanks for reaching back to us. I see these are paragraph elements that do not require a value from the user. It will only work for fields that requires a value. If the these fields are empty, then they will not show in PDF Document. However, this will not work for paragraph elements. Right now and as what my colleague mentioned, it is not possible to conditionally hide them in the PDF Document.

I will send a feature request to our developer team. When or if this will be developed depends on several factors such as how feasible it is, the number of requests we receive and the workloads of our developers. When it's implemented, we'll update you here.
