    Hi!

I currently have a form that sends a confirmation e-mail to the person who submits the form. Inside that confirmation e-mail there is an "Edit Submission" button that lets them re-submit their answers. I would like to be able to set an expiration date on that submission link. For example, I would like to be able to deactivate that link 48 hours after the user submits their first response.

To my understanding, you want to add the "Edit Submission" to the email alert. After the user clicks the Edit Submission and re-submitted the form, the link will be deactivated after 48 hours or disable the Edit Submission.

I am not sure if this possible because the Edit Submission in the first email alert that the user receives will still work.

If I misunderstood your question, please let us know. Thank you.
