Quiz - Question & Answer Issues

I'm experiencing issues with one of my quiz questions where I added additional text in brackets. This modification is causing correct answers to be marked as incorrect. Could you guide me on how to resolve this in the backend without causing further issues?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, the answer was shown as an incorrect as well. Check out the screenshot below to see my results. Can you double check the selected answer in the quiz is the correct one? As I saw there's no option in Question 18 is called "(Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada).

The issue is not resolved.

In the above thread, you have added a screenshot of Question #18

In that question - Option 3 is the correct answer

the words in the bracket were added by me manually, which has created this error and discrepancy.

Could you please copy paste the answer 3 as the correct answer section in the back end

That will / should solve my problem.

I think my colleague is referring to the Header Title Question #18. It means, there's no collected data on it. The option selected by the user is from the field (Who issues Radio Station licenses in Canada?).

Is that what you're trying to ask? If you're referring to the email alert showing incorrect result, most of the time, if we remove it and then add it back, that solves the problem. Let me help you do that: 

• In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
• In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
• On the right side of the Notification field, click on the Trash Can icon, and delete the existing Notification Email.

Now that we've removed the old Notification Email, we'll just add a new one. Let's do it: 

• While you're still under the Emails tab on the left side of the page in Form Builder, click on Add Email.

• Next, select Notification Email.

• Click on the Recipients tab and enter your email address in the Recipient Email field. Then, click on Save.

Now, you'll get a Notification Email every time a user fills out your form.

I think I have gotten everyone confused.

Let me start from the beginning

When I first created the quiz 1 month ago Q#18 was as below

WHO ISSUES RADIO LICENCE IN CANADA?

The answer that is currently one of the 4 options is

"Innovation, Science and Economica Development Canada" = This answer is correct

HOWEVER, Innovation, Science and Economica Development Canada was also called "INDUSTRY CANADA" a few years ago - So a few days ago I went into the back end of the quiz and edited the above answer and added details which you now see as the below answer

"Innovation, Science and Economica Development Canada (Also known as Industry Canada)" = While this answer is the NEW correct answer - The Jotform system where I add the correct answer was not updated - Therefore this is showing as the WRONG ANSWER and confusing everyone.

My issue is that I DO NOT KNOW how to update the answer in the back end, That is what I need help with. Hope that clarifies what i am trying to do.

Thanks for getting back to us. You can edit submissions directly within the cell in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

1. On your My Form's page, select the form, and click on Submissions in the upper part of the page to get to Jotform Tables.
2. In Jotform Tables, select the entry that you want to edit, and click on the three vertical dots right next to the star.
3. Select Edit Entry.
