I have checkbox fields on Jotform, whats the best field to create in Salesforce?

I have sections in my jotform where I can select multiple checkboxes for one question, what is the best field to create in Salesforce to receive this information?

It is possible to map the JotForm Multiple Choice (checkbox) field type to the Salesforce Picklist (Multi-Select) field type.

The field items (answers) should be identical at JotForm and Salesforce. This is important since the entry will not be created if you pass something that does not exist at Salesforce.
