    I received a notification about SSL limits (10/month), but my forms aren't set up as secure.

    Asked by loriresmer on October 29, 2012 at 09:04 PM

    I read the other threads in the User Guide about SSL forms. I saw that you have to uncheck the Secure Form checkbox and then re-embed the form on your site. However, when I went to uncheck the box, none of them are selected. So why are they being submitted as SSL forms?? Please advise ASAP because it's saying I'm already at my limit and my account might soon be disabled.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    We apologize for this issue. Are you using your form on Google Sites? Check this threads;

    I went ahead and reseted your secure submissions limit. All should now works fine.

    Thank you very much.

    Jotform -
    We actually don't use Google sites, so I'm not sure why it's doing this. Can you please help me to UNSECURE these forms so that they aren't set up as SSL forms? I have unclicked the "Secure Form" box on the embed page, but it still shows as a secure link in the http address. Please advise on what we need to do. Thanks!

    @Lori

    Hi, apparently you had the form still embedded in secure mode.

    You will have to re-embed the form using its non-secured URL like this http://www.jotform.us/form/22775376785167

    Please try this and check again.

    Thanks.

    In other words, you need to uncheck 'Secure form' option, and then embed updated code to your website.

    Thank you.

    @winvaria

    If you have followed the steps given by my colleagues and it is still sending your submissions as secure, it is possible that if your webpage is a secure site, it is swiching your form automatically and that is causing such result.

    Please, try reembeding your form again and make a test and if the issue still persists, kindly post your question in a new thread and provide the URL of the website so that we can further investigate.

    Thanks
