Can I include a promotional/discount code in my payment form?

Asked by mafeeney on October 31, 2012 at 01:45 PM

I have integrated my Authorize.net account into my JotForm payment form, and am wondering if there is any capability of having "discount codes" where payees can enter a specific promotional code and their total will have that much subtracted? I contacted Authorize.net directly and they did not know.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

This is something NOT possible in Jotform Payment Integrations. But we can use our Conditional Logic Tool to make this possible and by using 1 base form and two (2) payment forms.

    Please also check this guide:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form

Please stay tune, I will come up with a sample form for you later.

    Thanks

    Hi,

This is the test form (base form and output form): http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23045445688965?

1 Original Price Payment Form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23045260352948

1 Discounted Price Payment Form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/23045415335951

    Discount Sample Code: qwerty

If you will not enter the correct code, you will be redirected to the original price form and if you will enter the right codes, you will be redirected to the discounted price form.

    The conditions are as follows:

I hope this is something good. Let us know for questions.

    Thanks

Thank you, guys! That is great and I may use that for future forms. It won't quite work for what I'm trying to do now, but it's great to know it now!

    Hi

I tried doing this and it wont let me ad more than one payment option. I am using Authorise.net

Where are you supposed to place the second payments option?

    @chabad,

It is impossible to add more than one payment option. If you like to create Multiple Payment Option, please follow this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form and the instructions given above this thread.

    Thanks
