Autoresponder: Why are users getting autoresponder email yet form has no autoresponder configured?

    I need to modify what the form is emailing but when I go to the admin, there does not even seem to be a confirmation email enabled. Am I missing something?

    I have tested your form and I was able to replicate the issue. I have also tried clearing your form cache but still the issue persisted.

    I however noted when I clone the form and run the tests the cloned form was not sending me an email autoresponder.

    I have escalated the issue to our level2 team for further analysis and resolution. We will update you on this thread once issue is resolved.

    I would duplicate the form and try that but I have no more form space left in my account limit.

    As a paying customer, this is unacceptable resolution time. It has been weeks now with no resolution.

    I have tested my cloned form and I did not receive an autoresponder email. I check your form again, and it seems you have added an autoresponder email to it.

    Kindly remove the autoresponder email, and let us know how it goes.

    I finally see what is happening... The Autoresponder system is sending two emails even though only one shows up on the admin of the form. One is the correct autoresponder and one is incorrect. We CANNOT have Jotform sending messages to our audience that we cannot control. The new screen capture shows both Autoresponders received with the admin showing only 1 exists.

    The email with Re: is the edited submission email. Every time you edit a submission, it will send you an email notification with RE: in it.

    I have checked your email notification and you have enabled to receive new emails every time submissions are edited.

    I am still receiving 2 autoresponders despite toggling what you instructed.

    I have checked your account and found 3 email address in your notification emails.

    Can you test using an email address not in your notification email?

    Here is a sample screenshot I receive when  I use the email address on my notification email.

    I receive two autoresponder email because I was using the same email address in the notification email.

    I get the same result when testing the form as though I am a visitor, using a different email.

    This ticket has been escalated to Level 2 support. The developers are looking into this issue and will hopefully provide a response asap. My colleague has already notified the developer to request attention here.
