How can I fill an existing PDF in approval flow and then send for signature?

Our company is a sales organization that signs up merchants with different processors.

I want to send our leads a form asking questions about their business. Based on their answers, an administrator will assign the lead to a particular salesperson. The salesperson will choose which processor we want to sign them with. The merchant's data will populate into the chosen processor's contract (pre-made PDF with fields). Then it should send the populated PDF form for signature back to the merchant for signing.

When I try this setup with Jotform's approval flow, I cannot figure out how to push the data to the PDF fields and then send for signature, since the "sign documents" do not have the "prefill" option like the forms do. How can I achieve this? I do not want to use a signature field. I want the merchant to be able to see the full contract and sign directly onto the contract.

    Hi Alanna,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
