Save and Continue feature: Not saving any data

    Hello,

    Earlier today, at approximately 1:00 PM, I made changes to the questionnaire and clicked "Save," however, the changes are not reflected. Unfortunately, it appears that all my answers from around 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM are missing.

    To ensure my progress was saved, I clicked "Save" frequently throughout the process.

    Could you please advise on how to recover this lost data, or if there's another way I can get the answers I've completed so far?

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. I have checked your draft link, and it seems that your submission has been saved. Take a look at the screenshot below:

    I also cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    I've cleared your form cache. Can you please test your form to see if it makes any difference? If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

    Dear Israel,

    Thank you for your reply. However, I'm facing an issue with my questionnaire progress.

    Unfortunately, the answers I filled in from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday are not saved. This includes responses in [see on picture] where we had already collaboratively determined the correct answers.

    This isn't the only unsaved section – there are a few others. The problem is, due to the collaborative nature of our work (four of us discussing the answers), I don't recall the specific answers for the missing sections.

    Or maybe it was correctly saved in on of the cache version :)

    And other example:
    Last paragraph: I put there List of abbreviations, cleared text in different language ..

    I am letting you know, I am going to fill the survey right now again.

    So I will work on survey, so please, that we don't both work on it at the same time and cause problems."

    Thanks for getting back to us. I'm really sorry that you're having troubles with saving your draft. I've also cloned your form and tried to replicate the issue, however, everything went smoothly. Not only that, but I also checked if there are any other users experiencing this issue, but that didn't help either. Unfortunately, since your draft was not saved, it isn't possible to recover it.

    Your form may not have been saved due to several reasons. It could be due to a bad internet connection, your browser caches, or with the device you're using. Each time you save a draft, a draft link will be submitted to your email address. To troubleshoot the issue, you can always check your Inbox to see whether you got the draft link or not. Also, since you're filling out your draft again, if you run into the same issue, can you send us a screen record of what's happening so we can investigate this further? You can use Loom to do that, or any other screen record that you can share to us a link with.

    After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.
