How can I let people choose a list of items using the date reserve widget?

    Hello,

I want to have people be able to reserve certain games for parties on a given date. They may not want all of the games on that date, only some. I can set up a date reservation for each item separately, but I was hoping to allow them to select the items under one date reservation and allow any other available items to be reserved by someone else for that date.

For example, if the choices are:

    Giant Jenga

    Candyland

    Connect Four

And someone wants Jenga and Connect Four, but not Candyland, I'd like the games to be one selection with Candyland available to anyone else who might want it on the same day. Is there a way to do this without setting up separate date reservations for each item? I have about ten items.

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Currently, this is not possible when using the Date Reservation widget. Keep in mind that the Date Reservation widget only allows you to select dates on the calendar that will be marked as booked and will be unable to be selected by others. But you can try using the Quantity Gift Registry widget or the Inventory widget. These widgets lets you automatically cross out items on your registry or store when they’ve already been claimed. When an item on your form is claimed, the widget will automatically render that item unavailable, making first-come-based items only available the number of times you need them to be. But you still need to add the Date Reservation and Quantity Gift Registry widget or the Inventory widget for each day.
