Why am I asked to provide a password for a "public" key? I have a private key saved in my documents...should it be saved somewhere else to trigger the option to use the saved key? I don't want to use a different key because I have several forms and the treasurer has requested me to use the same encryption key.

I discarded the cloned version of this form and started completely over because of the same issue. Am I missing an important detail here???

The page is not live on our website yet, so I have not included the url.

I'm sorry but when are you asked to provide the password? I'm not sure I understood your problem completely.

When you encrypt the form, you create a private key then. You will be asked to upload that key every time you try to view the submissions. The created key will work for every submission received from that point.

If you decide to create a new key, that will disable the old one and only the new one will work for submissions from that point (in that case, the only way to view old ones is to use the old key).

You can read more about that here: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!
