Feature Request: Bank State Branch Validator

How do i best look up external records to sanity check if an account number or BSB number is valid. Is that possible in your system to apply some logic checks like this?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can put all the account numbers on a spreadsheet and upload it to our Spreadsheet to Form Widget. This widget has the feature to validate codes, and by setting this field as required, the users won't be able to submit the form if they provide an incorrect code. Let me show an example:

1. Here's ab example of the spreadsheet I will upload to the widget:
2. Upload the sheet to the widget. You can personalize the error code that you want to show in the widget's settings.
3. Set the field as required. Now the users won't be able to submit the form if the incorrect code is provided.

So we would need all the available BSB of all banks in Australia? Is there another way of approaching this?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We do not have a widget that could validate BSB  numbers. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. I have a long list of valid bsb numbers. Can i validate it somehow? Upload the list of 15,000 valid bsbs?

Thanks for getting back to us. If you're able to upload your valid BSBS file to an Excel sheet, you can manage the validation of the data you collect by adding a Spreadsheet to Form widget into your form, as my peer showed above.
