Spreadsheet widget not considered unanswered if it has default data in it

    Hi,

We have the option to not show unanswered forms in the notification email. But some spreadsheet widgets still show even when the user has not put any data into them. I'm pretty certain this is because they have default values in some of the cells. Is there any way to not have these show on the email?

    On the email:

    Hi AJSonline,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Enterprise Support. Currently, when the spreadsheet widget has a default value it won't be an Empty Field, which is why it's always shown on the email. What I'd suggest is to use an Input Table instead, you can make the 1st columns as the labels for each row just like on your Spreadsheet Widget.

This will ensure that the data would only be attached to the email notification if the text box on the input tables is filled.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any questions.
