Appointment Field Feature: An ability to set the number of slots available per schedule and let the form user reserve multiple slots per appointment s

Good day,

I want to create an appointment option which can accommodate the following:

1. Users should be able to select how many people will attend

2. The maximum number of appointments per day is 70 people

3. Various companies for example will be able to book an appointment for the same day, until the maximum number of people who will attend (I.e. 70) is reached. Then appointments for that day should be blanked out.

So far I have tried using the weekly appointment widget as well as the normal appointment option. Although I can set the maximum number of bookings, I want users to be able to indicate how many people will attend the appointment which I do not seem to be able to find in the weekly appointment widget nor the normal calender appointment options.

Kindly advise on how I can go about achieving intended outcome. Just to summarize again:

1. Multiple companies to be able to indicate how many people they plan on sending for an appointment on a specific date.

2. Once the maximum allowed number of 70 people are reached for a calendar day, the appointment to fade out.

3. I want to stress the challenge is not with the amount of appointments but rather a counter to allow companies to book and if the maximum number of attendees per booking has been reached, the appointment date to no longer be available.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Both the Appointment field and the Weekly Appointment widget are designed to reserve individual slots per submission. If you would like to reserve multiple slots, I suggest using and repurposing the Inventory widget. This allows your form users to enter the number of slots they wish to reserve, and at the same time once the available slot/inventory is out then the form users cannot select the item.

Meanwhile, I will also escalate the feature that you are looking for, for the appointment field as it seems to be a good additional feature for the said field. However, unfortunately, I can't give you a time frame as to when this feature will be added as every feature is subject to consideration and evaluation. But as soon as it is available, we'll let you know.
