How to download the form with empty date field?

When I attempt to download the form, the date is pre-populating with today's date and I don't want a date to pre-populate at all. How can I change the pre-populated date settings?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. To make the date field empty when downloading your form, you need to change the settings of the date field in your PDF editor. Let me show you how to do it:

First, let's open your PDF editor:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Downward Arrow icon on the upper left part of the page, and click on PDF Editor.

Now, let's modify your date field:

1. Click on the Gear icon of your date field, and click on the Options tab.
2. In Default Date section, click on None.

It will now stay empty when you download your PDF version. Check out the screenshot below:
