Hi Admin_Team_info,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having difficulties with this, but HIPAA compliance features are only offered for Gold subscriptions. You can check out the Jotform Pricing and Features page to know more. To enable the HIPAA compliance features, you'll need to upgrade your account. Once done upgrading, here's how you can enable HIPAA compliance:
1. Go to your account’s Data page, and click on Enable HIPAA Compliance.
2. The upgrade wizard will first check your subscription type. You will see the message in the screenshot below if you don’t have a Gold subscription.
3. The upgrade wizard will check if you have verified your email address. If you haven't verified it yet, you will see the message below:
4. You'll then be asked to assign a new password. HIPAA Compliance requires the use of strong passwords. But, if you’ve already created the account with a strong password, you should see this message:
5. Tick on the I understand and agree checkbox and the Next button.
6. The upgrade wizard will review all your forms for HIPAA compliance. If no issues are found, the setup wizard will show the message below. Just click on Next.
7. A message will appear that your forms and submissions are ready for migration. Click on Start Migration.
Once the migration is completed, you will be redirected to the Data page to sign the BAA. You will also receive a confirmation email, as shown below, stating the completion of the HIPAA compliance features wizard.
Once completed, you'll need to sign the Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Just click on the 'Sign BAA' button after being redirected to the Data page.
Fill up the BAA form, scroll down, and click on 'Submit'. You will receive a confirmation message through the form.
Close the page and wait for the copy of the BAA through email. The email will look like the below image (Outlook interface):
Let us know if you have any other questions.
