Set form as incomplete when Pending outcome is selected in the Approval Flow

I created three different approval outcomes: Approved, pending, and rejected.

For the pending outcome is it possible to set a form submission as pending due to an incomplete form, and then once the client submits the appropriate information, we can then approve the original "pending" submission?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Approval Flow happens after the form is submitted. Therefore, a form submission can't be set as Pending. You can set the Approval Flow as Pending, by delaying the process and wait for the user to provide you with your required info.
